7.45 am (Walkathon)

 Warm up session will start by 7.15 a.m. It is advised that participants arrive earlier to avoid delay.

Race kit colection:
Date: 21st and 22nd September 2013
Time: 10am - 5pm
Venue: Concourse Area, Ground Floor, KDU University College Sdn Bhd, Jalan SS 22/41, Damansara Jaya, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

 General Details:
  1. T-shirts and goodie bags will be given to all participants while stocks last.
  2. Drinks will be provided at designated drink stations along the running track while stocks last.
  3. Upon completion of the run, participants will be given a medal and certificate.
  4. The organizer of the event will not be responsible for any accidents, injury, and death, loss of personal belongings before, during or after the event.
  5. Participants must run or walk and not use any form of transportation to complete the run.
  6. Family members are encouraged to walk or run together.

    The 3km walkathon is it a racewalking competition? Any prices/cash will be awarded beside medal for winning walker?

      Yes, the 3km walk-a-thon is a racewalking competition. Hampers are confirmed to be presented upon the first three finishers. However, any extra prizes are not confirmed yet. No age limit, but be sure that you are fully capable and fit to participate in the event.

    I'd like to join as I've joined this run last year. But do we really need to be there by 6 a.m.?? I don't think i can be there as that early... Can u change it to 6.45a.m.? I mean, we'll not be collecting race kit on race day itself, why need to be there early?

      There is no pressure for you to arrive that early. It is just advisable as we want to avoid any inconveniences such as traffic jams. The warm up session will start at 6.45 a.m.

      So far we have hampers for the top three in almost every category. Category D will only receive hamper for first place. However we are trying to obtain better prizes for top three for km and 3km respectively. But it definitely won't be cash prizes as this is a charity run, aiming to collect funds for SHELTER Home for Children

      So far we don't have anything definite. But, the top three in category A, B, and C will receive hampers. For category D the hamper will only go to the first place winner. Category E and F will be treated as category A and B respectively.

      However, we are trying to obtain better prizes for the top three winners in 5km run and 3km walk.

      No. This is a charity run to collect funds for SHELTER Home for Children Petaling Jaya. The profits received will be handed to SHELTER Home.

      Yes you can. Group registration is for 10 and above participants. What category are you joining? For group registration, we only have it for the Adult 5km (RM 27 each), Veteran 5km (RM25 each) and Youth 5km (RM 23 each)

      So far we are only giving out trophies for the top 3 in each category. They will also receive another additional prize along with the trophy depending on their category.

      Yes just bring a copy of the receipt and also your ic card. You can also come to KDU UC Damansara Jaya campus on the 23rd to 26th September, 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
