It was a good day. Many of you showed up. 1800 participants. Never would we have thought that we could get that many of you to get interested in our cause. Thank you for all the support. We really appreciate all that you have given us and we are truly grateful. From the MCS Fun Run team, we would like to say that we are deeply sorry for our mistakes, our flaws. We hope that you will be able to forgive us and cherish the good memories in joining us in MCS Fun Run 2013! P.S. Kudos to all that completed either the 5km run or 3km walk! You guys were awesome!

Closing date

Tomorrow(25th Sept 2013) is the last day to register for MCS Fun Run 2013.

Those that have yet to collect their race kits can collect it on the morning of the run itself, on the 28th September, at Stadium Kelana Jaya field. Collection starts from 6am.

Morning! Due to overwhelming response, we would like to open registration for MCS Fun Run 2013 once more. Closing date would be 12 noon on 25th September (Wed). We would not attend to any more registrations after that date. 

Kindly register before the closing date. Late registrations will not be entertained.

Race Kit Collection!!!

Date: 21st and 22nd September
Location: Concourse Area, KDU University College Damansara Jaya Campus.
Time: 10 am to 5 pm 

To collect your race kit, we require you to show us a copy (hard/soft copy) of your official receipt as well as your IC card.

If you are collecting on behalf of your group, we request to see a copy of your group's official receipt and also the name of the Group Leader. Otherwise, individual receipts of all members are needed.

We also allow you to collect on behalf of a friend, however please bring together a copy of his/her receipt to show us, as well.

and yes, a soft copy of the receipt will do too 

If you haven't made your payment yet, you can make payment on either of those days. We will also open a counter for walk-in registration but registration is subjected to availability of T-shirts.

If you haven't received your receipt yet, no worries, you will definitely receive it by 21st September.

Your Serial Number will be given to you on the race kit collection day together with your jersey.

Any difficulties regarding race kit collection, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be glad to help.

Postponement of MCS Fun Run 2013

Greetings from MCS Fun Run 2013!

This message is to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, we have came to a decision to postpone MCS Fun Run 2013. 

Previously it was planned to take place on the 23rd of June 2013. However, due to slow response from participants, unfortunately we have not reached a satisfactory number of participants. It was brought to our attention that there are 7 other Runs/Walkathons which fall on the same date (23rd June) which may have accounted for the slow response for our event.

We believe that proceeding with MCS Fun Run with a smaller crowd than anticipated will be undesirable on your side as well as on ours.

Therefore, we have confirmed a new date: 28th September 2013

We will be opening registration soon. Stay tuned to our Facebook Page and Website as we will be posting updates there.

We wish to welcome all of you come and join MCS Fun Run on 28th September.

IMPORTANT:
For registered participants who have not paid the amount due, we welcome you to join MCS Fun Run in September, however if you wish to retract your registration, kindly notify us.

For registered participants who have paid the amount due, we also welcome you to join the run in September. However, we understand if you wish you retract your registration and we will definitely refund your payments. We have sent out an email to all participants. Kindly notify us your latest status regarding our event for us to take appropriate steps. This refund is only elligible to those who registered for the run scheduled 23rd June.

Correction to method of payment

We have received a few complaints that a few of our interested participants cannot make payment to the bank account. We have looked into this, and have found out the problem. It seems there was a problem in communication. Payment can be made online at maybank2u.com or at certified ATMs bearing the Advanced PayBills logo. You may also head to any Maybank counter to transfer funds directly to the account. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Fun Run

After a week of hard work, Sundays meant all the time for yourself and your loved ones.While some prefer staying indoors with a good book and their morning coffee, other prefer to garden with their family or hang out with their friends. The Malay Cultural Society of KDU University College has got something interesting for you to do on a Sunday! We will be organizing a "Fun Run"! You can bring your friends and family along to this event and run together! By participating, you will also be helping to raise funds for The SHELTER Home for Children, a charity organization which helps neglected, abused, or abandoned children.

Following last year's big success, we decided to take this year's Fun Run a step further by having a 3 km walk-a-thon instead of just a 5 km run. We are also introducing group registration, where you can enjoy the Fun Run with your friends, and at a cheaper price! MCS Fun Run is a great way to escape your routine and experience a new, vibrant crowd as well as doing good deeds while you have fun. Be it alone or with your family, we hope to bring out joy and happiness while you stay healthy and fit. There will also be great performances for your entertainment as well as lucky draw with mystery prizes. Every participant will be given a T-shirt, medal, certificate and goodie bag.
